The European standardization institutions, EPC and CBI, have introduced some new features that require adjustments regarding SEPA payment instruments.
As of 17th March 2024, these new formats will enter into force:
- CBI standards for SEPA domestic and foreign credit transfers
- SDD collections (RID)
As indicated, the Foreign Credit Transfer with PE-EF structure will be discontinued and replaced with the Foreign Credit Transfer in XML format only. The SDD collection and payment instruction dataflows will have to be adapted.
If the changes are not applied on time, the transmitted flows related to the indicated types will be discarded.
